hi! I'm starting a crossfit class next September, and right now I'm not very fit. I was just wondering if you could give me some advice on what I should do for the next couple months to prepare myself? :)
I don’t know how to answer this because there is no measure to being ready. the best thing you can do is make sure you have a solid base of movement, know how to do pull ups, push ups, sit ups, squat, deadlift over head press. if the box you are about to join has good coaches they will make sure you are fundamentally sound.
I’m finding out micro goals are everything to me, you got collect all the inches before accumulating a foot and Crossfit has been an awesome tool in teaching me something new about myself with every workout. I don’t expect anyone to understand what I’m talking about but I enjoy sharing the experience of change with you all. Yes I pay Crossfit Rockland a fee to be apart of there awesome Box but almost a year ago when I decided that’s where I want to be I didn’t expect this much growth, I def want to thank everyone over there who has added to be being a better person In general.
