I know it sucks but you gotta do it cold turkey or find out what your really craving it may not really be the junk food but something in that food your body is craving. Above all else, eat enough. When your body is chronically under-fueled, it’ll start screaming for all sorts of wacky things. For many people, the best way to defeat cravings is to simply eat a greater quantity of raw foods.
Well when my girl friend was pregnant what doctors told us is if you didn’t live an active life style before don’t try and be it now. What you should do is 3 times a week about 30 minutes, don’t over exert yourself especially if you lived a sedentary lifestyle. Good things to do are walking swimming bicycle working pelvic floor exercises such a kegeles, bridges, partial wall squats and exercises for you back, not directly on your back but in a quadruped positions like bird dog and cat and camel stretches. But what is always best is to talk to your doctor.
Protein will not be stored or turn into fat its not the bodies main source of energy but when it comes to building the body up its great! nothing you eat turns into fat the carbs you eat turn into sugar (glucose) which is basically the fuel we run on day in and out. As long as you are active and continue to work your muscles and break them down your body will use these carbs to propel you thru your work outs. Think of it like this when you work out hard you mirco-tear the muscles, your body needs to repair itself right? How does it do this is thru the nutrients you ingest. Repeat this process I.E. exercise your body will have a hard time storing anything you will either maintain the same weight or lose weight depending on your caloric intake. I completely just spit all of this out for you and tried to condense it and make it as simple as possible lol I hope this helps don’t judge my typos please! If nothing I wrote is clear let me know I didn’t even proof read this I just got up from a quick nap after my work out :)
